@PaulWhitewick Londinium amphitheatre!

@joe_saunders1 Ah, that’s brilliant!

Some offcuts/extras from yesterday’s #dunstanday walk 1/3. Memorial in Stepney; history of Stepney Green; The Good Samaritan pub; Royal London Hospital’s crumbling former outpatients building.

All newspaper columns fall somewhere on the Self-Chiles axis.

Amazingly it’s over a year since my last #10tweetadventure celebrating #pancrasday. So what better than tracking down another saint, this time more intimately associated with London. On St Dunstan’s Day, 19 May, I give you… #dunstanday

@joe_saunders1 Nope! Watch this space 😁

Join me here for another historical London walking adventure starting in an hour or so! Your only commitment is reading 10 tweets 😁 twitter.com/chapmanbookman…

@ScientistSoph Excellent. And today is St Dunstan’s Day – he was patron of metalworkers and allegedly cast bells himself. (I am doing a #10tweetadventure about him later today… #dunstanday) I’ll be passing Whitechapel Bell Foundry!

@joe_saunders1 Oo, interesting – will have to read this! (Funnily enough later today I shall be visiting a church associated with 17th C publishing…)
