@jakobgreenfeld @dr When I co-created a book recommendation site (sold 2 years ago!) we called this the Harry Potter Problem. But it was easy to make our algorithm deal with it by demoting books on large numbers of user booklists.

@purserhallard I find I enjoy it in a ‘suspend all faculties’ way. Which seems to be par for the course these days when I’m just knackered and want some flickering shapes in front of me.
