Have to agree. I’m a self-pub consultant but also work for trad publishers – given the latter generally expect an author to have a following already, why not go to that audience directly and expand from there? twitter.com/samatlounge/st…

@j4 F’s French teacher habitually gives times, eg 30 mins for a homework that would take Charles de bloody Gaulle a week. So not always helpful!

Just spent my evening finishing this lovely book by @castlesandcake (found via @idler). I don’t often read books about publishing (busperson’s holiday) but this uses a small theme to go large about every aspect of books. It’s funny, informative and fascinating
