I’ve said this before, though not here: I think we’re going through the biggest division in the country since the English Civil War (or the Wars of the Three Kingdoms, as historians often refer to the conflict these days). At least we’ve not reached the pitched battle stage. Yet.

RIP the King of Hay, Richard Booth, who died last week. Rather pleased to have been in Hay for his memorial procession.
