Got the kids watching @FryRsquared’s Royal Institution Xmas lectures – not knowing that the first one has an uncannily prescient demonstration of how diseases spread (in this case with zombie masks). Fantastic stuff.

In years to come today’s kids will reminisce about how they used to play Lockdown Ginger – initiating a video call with a curmudgeonly relative or neighbour and then disappearing when they answer.

Is it wrong that I now refer to other humans as ‘vectors’? (And my son and I point them out in the distance on our country walks.)
