So the #publishing challenge to get a book out as fast as possible (republishing an out-of-print title) is complete! Took a bit longer than hoped but not bad at 3 hrs 40 mins. Details:
Scanning, 10 mins. OCR 9 mins. Image processing 20 mins. Basic typesetting 26 mins. Proofing and fixing errors 87 mins. Creating and typesetting new index 20 mins. Cover design 25 mins. Blurb and submission to KDP platform 23 mins. 220 mins total.
